Let's Work Together

Have you or your loved ones said any of the following?

Struggling with thoughts and feelings about food and your body can be confusing, exhausting and even lonely. We understand that due to diet culture messages all around us, body attunement might be a bit out of reach in the beginning.

Together, we will debunk food myths, challenge food rules, break free from numbers and other external factors so that you can gradually tune into your internal cues and learn what feels best for you. Finding flexibility in your food choices will free your mind to explore everything else in life that feels more joyful and fulfilling. We'll be right by your side to help guide you towards proper nourishment and cultivating a peaceful relationship with your body.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whether you’re new to nutrition counseling or eating disorder recovery, we’ve answered some of our most frequently asked questions below!

If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us!

  • All sessions are online via a secure telehealth program.

  • This varies based on the level of support you need. Generally speaking, we see the majority of our clients on a weekly basis in order to build rapport. As you progress in your journey, the goal is to titrate to meeting every other week.

We have some clients we have been seeing for years with less frequent check ins. Feel free to discuss with your dietitian the recommended level of support needed.

  • Please check out our services for more details.

  • At this time, we do not take any insurance. However, we highly recommend you check with your insurance company to see if they will cover nutrition services from out-of-network providers. If insurance will cover your sessions partially or in full, you are responsible for payment at the time of the service and we will provide you a superbill at the end of each month. You can then submit the superbill to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

  • Of course! We can work through your body image concerns together by exploring your feelings around your lived experience with the aim to help you feel your best.

In no way are we anti people who want to lose weight. We understand that living in a world filled with fatphobic diet culture messages that praises thinness is so challenging therefore we have so much compassion for all that are impacted by it. Please keep in mind we practice from a weight neutral approach and do not provide weight loss services. With that being said, we promise to hold space for your desire to lose weight while also digging into the deeper work around your body beliefs and values.

  • Intuitive Eating is an anti-diet nutrition framework that strives to reconnect clients to their bodies for sustainable change that aligns with their authentic values. It promotes sustainable healthy habits and prioritizes internal cues rather than body weight and external factors. The 10 principles of intuitive eating are: ditch the diet mentality, honor your hunger, make peace with food, challenge the food police, discover the satisfaction factor, feel your fullness, cope with your emotions with kindness, respect your body, movement – feel the difference, and honor your health – gentle nutrition.

  • HAES® is a weight-inclusive approach to health and social justice framework trademarked by the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH). HAES does not mean that everyone at every size is healthy, but rather that everyone, no matter their size, has the right to pursue health in ways that are meaningful to them. The five principles of HAES are: weight inclusivity, health enhancement, respectful care, eating for well-being and life-enhancing movement.

  • Absolutely! We see kids as young as 11 years old.

  • This page will guide you through checking your nutrition counseling benefits to determine whether our time together is covered by your insurance plan. We do not take insurance at this time. We are, however, in the process of changing that, so please stay tuned!
